- Traditional Spelling Tests – list of suggested words for kids to spell on their own, plus a list of dictation sentences for students to write.
- Non-Traditional Spelling Tests – multiple choice spelling test where the teacher says the word and students choose the correctly spelled option from 3 or 4 similarly spelled words. This option is for sounds that kids should be able to decode, but not spell independently yet, according to the K-2 Common Core standards.
